APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) — This is a pre-paid amount, typically 25-40% of the charter fee, to cover variable expenses incurred during the charter period. The captain meticulously records all expenditures, and a detailed account is provided at the end of the charter. Any unused APA amount is refunded to the guest.
