Frequently Asked Questions

For standard Gulet charters, the yacht rental fee, crew service, port mooring fees in Turkish waters, utility water, linen sets, and yacht insurance are included. Gulets typically include 3-4 hours of cruising fuel per day. However, for Motor Yachts, fuel, provisions, and marina fees are always extra (the APA system applies). VAT and Greek Islands expenses are excluded.

You have two options:

1. Full Board: You pay a fixed daily rate per person (Standard or Luxury Menu), and we handle all shopping and planning.

2. Self-Provisioning: We send you a detailed list; you can purchase and bring the supplies yourself or have them delivered to the yacht via online order. In both cases, cooking and service are handled by our crew.

This is an advance payment system primarily used for motor yacht charters. A fund equivalent to 30% of the charter fee is paid to the captain before the tour for fuel, food, and port expenses. All expenditures are invoiced at the end of the tour; any remaining amount is refunded to you, and any deficit is covered.

To confirm a reservation, an advance payment (deposit) typically ranging from 30% to 50% of the total amount is required. The remaining balance is collected in cash on the day of embarkation or via Bank Transfer/EFT one week prior to the tour.

Yes, if the yacht's documentation is suitable, we can set our course for Greece. However, Greek port taxes, customs agency fees, and extra fuel costs are borne by the charterer. Passengers must possess a valid Schengen Visa or a Green Passport. (Note: Since 'Visa at the Door' procedures for private yachts can be more complex than for ferry passengers, please confirm the current status during reservation.)

According to general yachting rules, for cancellations made more than 90 days before the tour date, a portion of the deposit may be refunded or carried over to the following year. For cancellations made less than 30 days before the tour, a refund is generally not issued. However, in cases of 'force majeure' such as pandemics, war, or official travel bans, the right to change dates is reserved.

A Transitlog is the official document indicating the yacht's navigation permit. The initial departure document for Turkish waters is usually included in the price or incurs a nominal processing fee. However, if a country change occurs during the tour (departure to Greece - entry to Turkey), the document must be renewed, and these fees are borne by the guest.

Our yachts have comprehensive insurance and third-party liability insurance. However, this covers the yacht's equipment and marine accident risks. We recommend that guests obtain individual Travel Health Insurance for their personal belongings (phone, computer, etc.) or health issues.

Unless otherwise stated, the list prices you see on the website generally do not include VAT. For invoice requests, the current VAT rate (20%) will be added to the total amount.

When chartering a yacht for a day, daily rental hours are typically from 10:00 AM for check-in to 5:00 PM for check-out.

As an industry standard, check-ins are on Saturdays at 3:00 PM, and check-outs are on Saturdays at 9:30 AM. The 5-6 hour interval is an operational necessity for detailed cleaning, disinfection, water/fuel replenishment, and crew rest.

Absolutely! You can discuss with our captain to create your dream route (Bodrum, Göcek, Hisarönü, etc.), provided that weather and sea conditions are safe. However, the final decision-making authority for safety of life and property always rests with the captain.

On standard and luxury gulets, air conditioning is typically operated for 4-8 hours a day (during midday heat and before sleeping in the evening). For noise management and generator cooling, the air conditioning may be turned off overnight. If you desire 24-hour continuous cooling, you should opt for our "Deluxe" or "VIP" class yachts. Please inquire for current information on this!

Most of our yachts offer Wi-Fi service (powered by Turkcell/Vodafone infrastructure) within Turkish waters. However, in open seas or due to the geographical structure of some secluded coves ("blind spots"), the signal may weaken. Roaming charges will apply in the Greek Islands.

This is at the discretion of the yacht owner. Some of our yachts are "Pet Friendly," while others do not accept pets due to hygiene and floor (teak wood) sensitivity. Please inquire before making a reservation.

Yes, a blue cruise is a wonderful option for families. Our yachts are equipped with life jackets for children. Upon request, a Safety Net can be installed on the yacht's guardrails before the tour.

You can specify all your allergies and dietary requirements on the "Preference Sheet" that we will send you before the tour. Our chef will plan the menu entirely according to your sensitivities.

Equipment such as Jet Skis, Seabobs, or water skis are extra. A license may be required for Jet Ski use in some areas. Please inquire for detailed information before chartering!

For safety and fire risk reasons, smoking is strictly prohibited in cabins (bedrooms) and enclosed lounges. Smoking is only permitted on deck, in open air, and in downwind areas. Guests are kindly requested to be careful not to damage wooden surfaces and upholstery.

Our captains continuously monitor weather conditions and prefer the calmest, waveless coves. Nevertheless, if you are prone to seasickness, we recommend using a seasickness band or medication before the tour. Additionally, catamaran-type yachts (twin-hulled) can be preferred as they sway much less than monohull yachts.
